More than 200 children benefited from the support of the St George’s Police Children Trust during 2018.
The trust helps the children of officers who have died and has now also extended its remit to include children where the partner of a police officer who has lost their life.
It currently has 208 beneficiaries, 18 of which were new in 2018. There are currently 31,649 donors supporting the invaluable work of the trust.
During 2018, a number of new benefits were introduced including a new beneficiary grant of £1,000, a driving lesson grant and a child counselling grant.
