If you are struggling to get a good night’s sleep right now you are far from alone. With every day worries suddenly compounded by a global pandemic and national lockdown it is no surprise that rest is hard to come by with our minds overloaded.
A study conducted by King’s College London has revealed 63% of people say their sleep has gotten worse since the beginning of the UK’s lockdown. 39% say they have slept for fewer hours on average compared to pre-lockdown while 50% say their sleep is more disturbed than usual.
You can view the full results of the study on the King’s College London website here.
Meanwhile, friends of DBT, Clarity, are on hand to offer some assistance with sleep problems. It is the latest in their series of videos helping people deal with the impact of Covid-19.
